WEEKEND POSITION

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitoring the indoor race circuit whilst events/kids’ parties are running
• Issuing the correct flags to drivers whilst they are racing on circuit
• Relaying information carefully and correctly back to the Race Director
• Keeping up track appearance to the company’s high standards
• Ensure all our guests receive a positive, warm and professional first and last impression of the business.
• Develop relationships with regular guests and maintain privacy and professionalism when dealing with customers
• Be aware of booking procedures and arrange and communicate reservations in an efficient way, assisting in maximising occupancy
• Ensure all reservations are communicated to the management & kitchen teams
• Responsible for marshalling laser tag games
• Maintaining a high level of customer service
• Health & safety and cleanliness always.
• Taking bookings
• Dealing with customers face-to-face and over the telephone.
• Monitoring Segway and Children’s parties to ensure safe working practices.
• Helping cook and clean in our café area.
• Serving customers refreshments after activities in the café.
• Responsible for effective communication with fellow team members and managers to ensure a smooth efficient running of a working day.
• Responsible for liaison with Café staff and other team about comings and goings of customers.

Skills and Essentials:

• Must have had customer service experience in a face to face role and be confident in selling products to the customers while on site.
• Be presentable, professional, reliable & confident liaising with customers
• Have the drive and commitment to be successful to further develop their skills
• Have excellent first-class communication, people and team working skills
• Be self-motivated and have the desire to be the best
• Have bags of enthusiasm and the ability to have fun whilst working
• Can work closely as a team in order to provide a safe racing environment for our customers.
• Be available to work evenings and weekends.
• involves some heavy lifting.

Experience is not necessary as full safety and track training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge within the karting industry would be advantageous.Due to the high calibre needs of physicality of the workplace, applicants must be of peak physical condition, and must be able to complete all aspect of the job without any altercations due to fitness.
