Karting

Any session that is booked with us will have an arrival time of 30 minutes before the start time of the session. This is a mandatory time that customers will need to be arrived for. This is to ensure that we have enough time to brief and sign in customers.

Any Driver (Main Track) under the age of 18 must have an accompanying adult with them to sign in to the venue.

We cannot guarantee a walk-in appointment will be available, therefore we strongly advise the customer to book prior, to avoid disappointment

A booking made over the phone with us is only temporary and will not form a binding contract unless a full payment is made or a deposit is taken. If the booking is made within 24 hours of the session, then we require a £10 deposit per person.

Any deposits received onto a booking are non-refundable. However a booking may be moved free of charge to another date, or payment can be kept on the system to allow a customer to book for another date.

Organizers of events are subject to a full payment fee if drivers fail to attend. Even if fewer drivers arrive than what was booked, the organizer will be liable for those reserved slots. For example, if 10 people were booked, and only 8 people arrived, the organizer will have to pay the full amount.

Any bookings canceled by the customer with less than 72 hours' notice, will be subject to a full payment fee, or no refund given.

Any driver than fails to attend, or any driver than is withdrawn from karting for other reasons, will not receive a refund.

Late arrivals may not receive their full session if availability  does not allow, and no refund will be offered. We will however try to accommodate you if free slots are available.

For insurance and safety reasons, latecomers that have missed the start time of the briefing, will not be allowed to race and therefore not receive a refund.

Whilst we try and run on time this is not always possible so we advise that you allow some extra time for your visit.

All drivers MUST NOT wear any open-toe or top shoes (sandals) or any high-heels, we recommend trainers. Hoodies are also not allowed on the circuit for safety reasons. Any scarfs and neckwear will need to be removed as well.

We provide full sanitised race suits and helmets, free of charge, drivers are more than welcome to bring their own equipment. Helmets must meet with our ISO standard safety stamps and must be clear visors or goggles.

In the interest of personal hygiene customers wishing to use our helmets must provide head coverings such as a balaclava or similar. If you do not have your own covering, we can supply a high-quality washable cotton balaclava, which you can use on return visits for just £3. Gloves are also compulsory so bring your own or we can sell you some for just £2. Our race pack is available for purchase and includes both a Balaclava and gloves for £5.

This experience is not suitable for expectant mothers, people with back problems, heart conditions or other illnesses, which could affect their driving. If unsure please ask a member of staff. Drivers that are small, large, or heavier drivers may experience problems fitting into the kart and therefore will have a bad experience karting. We have a maximum height of 6ft 3" and a maximum weight of 18 stone.

MotorSport can be Dangerous - You will be asked to sign an indemnity form to confirm that you agree to participate at your own risk and should you sustain an injury you release JDR Karting Ltd and its associates from liability. This form can be done online before arriving. We do have facilities upon arrival, but it is preferable to get this done in the comfort of your own home. Please ensure all drivers within your group do this.

You agree to abide by the rules set out in the safety DVD, which you must see before driving unless you have seen it in the last 6 months and can remember what you saw. your knowledge can be tested by any member of our staff. If for any reason the staff deems you to need it, they can put you into the briefing video.

It is your responsibility not to drive unless you are sure of the contents of the DVD - please ask about anything you are unsure about, we are here to help keep you safe.

If you experience a problem with a kart or are dissatisfied with its performance please notify the marshal immediately and we can change it. Letting us know at the end of the session will not result in a refund being given.

Arrive and drive sessions are mixed ability, meaning they range from ages 13-adults, therefore everyone is at different levels of experience. Therefore we have the right to terminate your activity if any of your group's behaviour is deemed unsafe, violent distressful, or is likely to cause damage, an annoyance to employees and customers. In this case, the organisers are not liable for a refund and are subject to charges for any damages. Being under the influence of any drugs or alcohol is strictly forbidden and will not be allowed to race.

Arrive and Drive sessions are not classed as "Races" they're track experiences, if you would like to race, then we advise you to book a race event

The circuit staff reserve the right to refuse admission and ban customers, from the venue for any reason at its sole discretion.

Any driver must not have consumed any alcohol 12 hours before their session. Alcohol is not allowed on the premises.
