Q What is the minimum age and height allowed for the adult karting?
A 12yrs 1.45m
Q What is the maximum weight & height allowed
A There is no weight or height limit however our helmet size of XXL may be the limiting factor, but this is very rare.
Q What should I wear?
A We recommend casual clothing and sensible footwear, trainers are ideal - no high heels or open footwear such as sandles.
Q Can my children come without me?
A You can print an indemnity form from our printable forms page and sign it for them to bring with them. Please ensure there is an emergency contact phone number to contact you if they have an accident.
Q Is all equipment provided free?
A Yes - you will be provided with a race suit, helmet . For hygiene reasons you are required to wear a balaclava and gloves if you use our helmets which prevents having to share someone else's sweat from the previous driver. You can use your own balaclava and gloves or purchase one from us for just £3ea and you can keep it to use again next time.
Q What engines do you use?
A We use the fabulous Honda GX160 engines which is the most popular engine used at most indoor karting arenas.
Q Can I hurt myself?
A Unfortunately YES you can. As with any form of motorsport there is always some element of risk involved however we are a fully certified circuit and member of the National Karting Association which helps to ensure that any risks are kept to a minimum.
Q I have never been karting before, can I do it?
A Yes - we provide safety instruction and show you how to operate the karts and what to do before your session starts.
Q Will I have exclusive use of the track?
A This depends on the session type you have booked. Race events are exclusive, but the Track Driving Experience is not.
